What is Hemstig Travel?
A mobile app of self-guided walking tours through old towns. Each tour is a route with stops; every stop has a story, a small riddle to solve on the spot and a postcard to collect.
Do I need a guide or a booking?
No. You walk at your own pace, whenever you like. The app is the guide.
How long is a tour?
A typical city walk takes about 90 minutes. Day trips to towns around the city are planned for most of a day.
How do tokens work?
A tour is opened with 3, 4 or 5 tokens depending on its length. Tokens never expire, and a tour you have opened stays yours. Larger token packs cost less per tour.
What does Premium include?
Audio narration, collections and city events, an AI guide that answers questions about the tour, and every tour for one token less. The monthly plan starts with a 3-day free trial; there is also a yearly plan.
Which languages are supported?
English, Polish, German, Czech, Ukrainian and Russian.
Which towns are covered?
Towns of Lower Silesia (Wrocław, Legnica, Kłodzko, Bolesławiec, Jawor and more), Saxony (Görlitz, Dresden, Meißen) and Czechia, with new routes added regularly.
What happens to my data?
We use your location only while the app is open, to follow your walk. You can delete your account and all of its data at any time; see the privacy policy and the account deletion page.
